The void is the unknown. Without the unknown there could not be any joy of living... Have faith in Him who has and holds power over life. No longer be afraid of living... You have to accede to that humility which makes us accept what God gives us to live.

What does it mean to leap into the void ?

Every day, we encounter the void in our lives. It is the quest which we have come on this earth to do, the quest of leaping into the void, that is, the void is the unknown, to accept that there is an unknown, for without the unknown there could not be any joy of living. The unknown is 5 minutes from now, or 3 seconds, or an hour, or 3 days. You do not know the unknown nor what your life will be like tomorrow or in 3 months. But what I can tell you is that God invites us to something very precise. He tells us «Ask and you shall receive». What request is He talking about ? What does He want us to recall in «Ask and you shall receive» ? It means that He knows human beings; our requests are many but never stable. We change our mind every hour. We ask for miracles but we are afraid to heal. We ask for advancement but we are afraid to change. We ask for so many things. Truly, if we have a headache, I wanted to tell you that these headaches are the expression of your imprisonment. Cut that out ! Leap into the void ! Have faith in Him who has and holds power over life. No longer be afraid of living. No longer be afraid of hindrances in your life.

All stumbling blocks, all dilemmas, all traps which are set for us are there as part of humanity's experience to make us grow and spring out of ourselves. If we had a life as monotonous and sad as you have had, believing to live; you were not living. You lived in such a growing monotony that even love turned itself off. We believe we love, but we only put up with things. That is why it is important to realise that the unknown is the gift of which I spoke to you this morning. Because God Himself is preparing for you a life made of beauty, colours and perfumes. But you must accept to live it. You have to accede to that humility which means the acceptance of living what God gives us to live. And when we enter into this acceptance, then we can declare victory. «Ask and you shall receive» because every request from man is held, from the moment that it is made within desire, desire of doing good, desire to love, desire to access the love of others, that love often incomprehensible, that universal love among different races. That is why it is important to realise what can be concrete and what can also be invisible.

You know, it is very important today to put a finger on the frontiers of the invisible, which push us to understand better, to help others better and to serve others in a different way.
