Are we aware of the importance of our physical body on Earth?
-Through interposing our soul, can we therefore attend all the pilgrimages that are undertaken by IVI?
Yes, provided there is a rotation.
-In fact, those who leave, leave on behalf of those who stay,,,
Exactly, which is why you need good will every time.
Because, admittedly, if it is always the same people who do a pilgrimage, the soul of those who do it are happy, they are obviously enriched. But there will come a time when the other souls, who have not had the possibility of following this path in a physical person, will ask for something else, something more, because our physical body has an action to do on earth. Yes, because otherwise we would not be in a corporeal envelope since in that case, the angels would be enough. But angels are not enough to give the earth what the earth needs. Therefore, the participation of the physical body at certain points of the earth is necessary; sacred places are made for that. And that is why we must understand that it is in large numbers that we have strength, that is, in large numbers conscious of what we are doing. Because there are other pilgrimages in the world, done for personal intentions, in which no one is united to others; they are assemblies of individuals. That is the whole difference.
When many are gathering on an essential point, but someone goes there for his personal or family needs, what action is he doing for God and for others? On the other hand, if we go to this same place but we go there for others, with the contribution of others, always for others, for an infinite number of people, for different countries, for souls that we do not know, for the multitude… then there is a different effect. It is a gathering made for the gathering of others. Humanity is there. That is why it is very different once we know what "pilgrimage" means. Otherwise people would say very quickly, well, since my soul can go to such a place, I can stay at home.
You know, you have to be very careful about what you say, because words are often interpreted literally. We know very well that we live in a society where we must truly realize what "pilgrimage" means, in relation to everything that is and exists today. That is why I am repeating, really explaining what it means, because at this time, every one of us could stay home. But what would be our intentions in regard to what we are carrying out on site.
The physical body has a role to play with the soul, because we are human, and God created humans to serve Him. Otherwise angels would do the work, He would not need men. That's the difference.
-Can you tell us more about the role of the physical body?
If we are matter, if we are physical bodies, if... it is strange, because in the Bible is written: "And God created man in His image". You realize that God put matter into man and He put the divine Spirit into matter, for it is the breath that animates matter. So if He created us as a physical body, it is because we have a role to play as a physical body. Otherwise it is what you call death, the Beyond. Our body can only perform a role in the visible. It goes without saying that our astral body, that is, our soul, cannot perform a role in the visible; the proof being that it does not speak. Spirits do not speak to humans, There is the separation that exists between humans and those who have left us.
So if this Beyond exists, it means beyond an understanding, beyond a certain dimension, and therefore beyond matter. Therefore the material body has an effectiveness that a bodiless Spirit cannot have. You understand the difference. We are not angels. Angels are another dimension of the Spirit. Angels can very well be humans who had come to earth, but through transformation and purification, they have become angels. But, angels have no function relating to matter. It must be human beings, that is, the divine Spirit within human beings, who will work with matter and who, through their work, will call the angels to their rescue. It is very different.
It is through humility that man incarnates himself, that is, that the Spirit incarnates within man. It is an action of humility in order to better serve God… it is through becoming a child again that we can become better involved in the tasks that are offered to us. And it is this gigantic work that we must understand among ourselves. Each being has his own mission to accomplish, a mission which can only be accomplished from within a body of flesh. And from within this body of flesh we must become aware of the divine existence, and of the spark that is given to us in order to accomplish our mission. We are matter because we correspond to matter; we feed on matter so that our material body is in a fit state. And therefore the Spirit, which is in the matter, must nourish itself differently. It must nourish itself by prayer, which is the very essence of life. So there are two foods for a body, what you call a physical body, and the connection of these two foods leads us to the marvel that is a human being. Because God could very well have done without humans. He would have done something else in this galaxy. But He wanted to involve man, His masterpiece, in this galaxy. He then brought this material masterpiece to life, so that through this transformation and this communion, the whole galaxy would be alive. It is through the energy of man that life is transmitted in this galaxy.
Every man is connected to the universe. Everything found in the universe is in your body; no planet is foreign to you; all stars are part of you. So, we know that we are in this microcosm and that we are equal to the macrocosm. God had to have wanted this construction to take place in several stages, since for thousands of years, man has not understood his importance in relation to God. And this is the path that you are discovering, little by little. It is written in the Bible as such: as above, so below. And every man has this possibility because he is matter and because through the combination within matter, that is, through matter and the divine Spirit, there is communication. We can communicate life to others, we can transmit it; this is the beginning of the masterpiece. And of course, it is easy to understand that a bodiless spirit would have no effect on certain places. Only matter can comply with matter; the Spirit returns to the Spirit. The Spirit can only affect matter if it is incarnated, otherwise the Spirit does not approach matter.
