Do we show enough trust in our prayers? And are we praying with enough fervour? How does our faith help us overcome difficulties?

When you say: “Hail Mary”, these are not meaningless words but you are actually speaking to somebody. It is just not an abstraction, Mary is not a shadow. She truly is a human being, a divine being. She understands you, she hears you, and when we start praying all together, as you have, then, at that moment She can send her graces onto this earth.

We need to be aware of what we are experiencing today and what we need to share with others. When you say: “Hail Mary”, these are not meaningless words, but you are actually speaking to somebody. She understands you, she hears you, and when we start praying all together, as you have, then, at that moment she can send her graces onto this earth.

Do you think that she doesn't know what is happening on this earth? Do you think she is not suffering from seeing all those who are well-off hide behind their masks so they don't have to see others suffering? Do you think that she is blind and deaf, and her Son too?

Let’s try to better understand our behaviours and get a better sense of what we should be doing at all times. When we are suffering in the body, like some people here are, let’s ask Him for the grace of healing, but for true healing: knowing that each of your cells can be transformed. But have faith and trust, even if you take medication and the doctors are telling you there is not much hope. You have hope in life, it is your body, your life, you have the right to ask what you wish for so you can heal; heal not only in your body, but so your soul can be freed and full of joy.  When the soul is freed within a body, suffering decreases; it is the soul that directs the body, not the other way around.  So give your soul the chance to live in joy, to hope, to always hope even against all odds. We have the chance to enjoy life, so much so that it is offered to us, with all its gifts and abundance of graces; it’s just a matter of focusing and looking around… In our daily life if we listen to our inner voice, there is this little voice that doesn’t bother anyone but which is happy when we do good. You all know it, you have often experienced it: doing good is giving happiness. Opening our heart is truly welcoming someone, knowing that we experience difficulties to test our faith, to learn to accept others who are different from us. When we have children whether they are heterosexual or homosexual, don’t we love them the same? They chose their life. We don’t have the right as parents to intervene in their lives. Their lives belong to them. We don’t belong to anyone and no one belongs to us, even within a couple. We must live freely. It is the acceptance of others that gives value to love.

When you pray, it is not just a request but a certainty that it will be granted.  When you pray a novena, the answers you have long been waiting for arrive. We need to follow a straight path filled with generosity and goodness.  We need to mix with others, with their faith, weaknesses, continual stresses, fear of unemployment… Do you realize how much this contributes to divisions within couples? When there is no more money coming in, when the body goes hungry, when debts accumulate, the fear of not having a job is really terrible.  We know this. Since we can’t give to everyone, let’s pray for them! It doesn’t cost you anything and we know the benefits that Mary and her Son will bring to all these people across the world.

There is a great crisis in France, but it isn’t the only country, it is in the entire world. We need to face it, be courageous and realize that what we experienced in the past is perhaps not quite how we may live in the future. Another life is preparing itself and we need to come out of this life today where we are slaves to what is material. We have become slaves of the material world because the more we earn, the more we want to earn; the more money we have, the more we want.  It just keeps on going. In the future, which means this afternoon, in an hour or two, have a new spirit, have a new awareness so you can have a greater understanding of what you need to live and what you can give as extra to others. Be good to little ones, ones who are humble, those who never say a word, those who work in silence, all those little hands that I know so well. We carry them in our prayers and in our hearts.

Acknowledge Mary not just as a spirit or apparition. She appears to prove to mankind that she exists, that she is alive and we need to be aware of her presence.  Let us be aware of her divine presence close to us, she who loves each one of us personally, even with all the difficulties we may have, our cowardice, the betrayals we have done to others, and lies, so many lies! Watch your tongue, see to it that you stop lying… Christ himself said: “The father of lies is Satan”. He wants to deceive us, he takes us along absurd paths and we get lost in our lies. That’s why we need to watch our thoughts, and especially our words. Don’t pretend to be someone you are not. God can see into the secret part of our hearts.  He knows very well who you are. He knows very well what you need. He knows your deepest aspirations, but he wants to see you working, serving Him through those who will cross your path.
