The body

The body of light

French l Spanish

What is difficult about loving our body?

The more we elevate our consciousness, the more we elevate ourselves, and the more we advance towards God, the more our body transforms itself, the more it becomes luminous. Zones of shadow slowly disappear. That is why God gave us the second key, harmonisation, in order to give back to a body the Light from which is was issued.

Our body, our temple is sacred in the face of the universe.  That is why we are related to the cosmos, that we are the microcosm of the macrocosm.  Everything is within us because God wanted it so.  He wanted us to be such that we could create, generate, establish peace, love etc.  Yet, when we see mankind today, we know very well that the temples of God do not serve God.  And there lies the tragedy: the temples serve His enemy, otherwise there would be no war, and there would not be all that we see regarding drugs, weapons or the horrors of guerillas, as we have seen in Colombia.

The human body is a divine body.  As such, it is clear that through His Transfiguration, Christ was the first to show us what a body was.  Our body appears to be physical, but it consists of nothing but atoms.  You yourself heard from the scientist that we are nothing but atoms.  Atoms shine.  It is a question of fusion, an atom is never inert, it is in constant motion.  So we are an aggregate of atoms which form a body of dazzling beauty.

Christ was precisely the living demonstration of this for mankind.  His transfiguration allowed His apostles to see with their own eyes that a human body could suddenly be sparkling with light, with clothing becoming a brilliant and blinding white.  You might say that the apostles had to see because they were all Doubting Thomases.

This temple is moving; it is in motion.  The more we elevate our consciousness, the more we elevate ourselves, and the more we advance towards God, then the more our body transforms itself, the more it becomes luminous.  Zones of shadow slowly disappear.  That is why God gave us the second key, harmonisation, in order to give back to a body the Light from which is was issued.  Otherwise, we could very well place our hands on a material body, but nothing would happen.  Hands do not heal, but rather what comes out of the hands and goes towards the other.  It clearly concerns energy; what comes out of our hands is not matter.

Christ offered us the great gift of the Resurrection of His body.  Those who experienced that moment saw that death does not exist.  Can you imagine seeing this today?  It is one thing to read about it in the Bible, or in the Gospels.  We say: yes, we know that it is true somehow, since 4 evangelists wrote about it and the twelve spoke about it, so we know it, yes.  But if you saw it, what would you say?  There lies the problem.  We can write anything at all, but do we experience it internally?  Do we imagine in our heart and soul how Christ’s body was whipped before being put on the wood?  He was whipped, scorned, spat upon, and crowned with thorns.  And I don`t know if you know that the thorns found in Israel are not small like the thorns on our roses; they are from thorny trees with thorns at least 8cm long.  And when these enter the head, I don`t know if you can imagine the pain, first of all, and then the infection in the heat.  He underwent that.  His body was subjected to tremendous ordeals so that we would understand all the suffering that was accepted for our sins.

What does this mean, `our sins`?  So, were we there 2000 years ago?  Yes we were there because through humanity, we are heirs of those who were there.  Even if we weren`t there in body as today (in yours, anyway).  We must understand that the resurrected Christ was seen, and people (those who loved Him) experienced it, they saw Him. He appeared to many people, not only to the twelve.  This means that this is an enormous realisation. If our body falls into ruin, as you said, through disease... what is disease? Does disease hinder our body`s access to this Light?  First of all, to a certain extent we generate disease.  We are capable of generating suffering through our fears, through our stress, through our anxieties, through all that has hitherto made up our lives.

So, the understanding with respect to Christ is to say to oneself: I have a temple which is His.  Christ said: “What I will do, you will also be able to do.”  That means He identifies with us; it means to be aware of the beauty of our body, to stop beating it, to stop mangling it, to stop feeding it one poison or various poisons.  I think we must be aware that this body is given to us, especially to us, to take care of it.  The body is a garden, it is a paradise, it is the most beautiful factory in the world; nothing can replace a human body.  That is, this body of flesh will become Light through Transfiguration, it will become a body of matter again through suffering and then become Light through the Resurrection.

And this shows the metamorphosis of a body: it means a body lives, it is pliable, it is not inert, so the life which is given to this body passes through channels other than matter.  Sure, earthly nourishment is needed, but the body especially needs cosmic or divine nourishment.  It is not made of matter alone.  Since it is made of atoms, these atoms need a certain material nourishment, such as vitamins, proteins, minerals and metals, as a start.  All the ingredients of the earth are also our ingredients.

But He gives us more: as He revealed prayer to us, Christ taught us to give, to love our body and to truly give this invisible nourishment to our body.  It is this nourishment that God wanted for us: prayer is the means, the communication which animates our body and regenerates our cells.  The body of Light of the Resurrection shows this in many stages.

We must understand what Light is and what a “Body of Light” is.  There are many interpretations, and especially many nuances with respect to the life of Christ.  First of all, we must understand that we must become re-spon-si-ble for this body!  We have responsibilities in our work, for example, for the proper running of our kitchens, or the storing of our things in cabinets...  But do we pause a moment to observe the state of our body?  We wash quickly in the shower or bath, and we get dressed, but without having paid any attention to what our body represents.  God does not want narcissism from us, but an awareness of the tabernacle He has offered us.  That is quite different!

The eradication of sins is the shed blood.  That is, the price of blood.  In the Bible, the price of blood is very clear: it is the nectar of man, the nectar of God, since He compares His blood to the fruit on the vine.  It is not for nothing that the Eucharist is given to us.  And if it was given to us to nourish our body of flesh, this means that there is quite a symbol locked in the Eucharist: we need not only material sustenance, but another kind, which is spiritual.  When we become aware that we are children of God, the first thing to consider is the beauty of this body, any body, no matter whether it is big, small, thin, old or not so young.  The body remains in its beauty; there is no age for the body, that`s what is important.  To maintain the body is not only to use ointments and cremes: this is an additional thing that we can do! But especially through the nourishment that we have just spoken about. It is to feed oneself with divine love and to feed others with this same divine love.

Without divine love, without prayers, without harmonisations, without vibrations, how could we understand what a Body of Light is?  We must therefore pass through stages of reconciliation within ourselves.  And this understanding is at times painful, because we have never thought of our body as a temple, but rather as a machine, sometimes rusty, of course, we become aware of this.  But this is not what a body is.  We must realise that we must devote some attention to this fabulous and astronomical factory which is our body, and listen to the message it gives us.

When illness intrudes upon us, it is because we have at some moment stopped loving life. There is always a resurfacing uneasiness and we truly distance ourselves from the divine route.  We distance ourselves from beauty and we go towards sadness or boredom.  Then, anxieties give rise to all of our illusions, to disturb us and make us flirt with pain.

I think we must realise two things about the human body: firstly, to love it, to consider it as a masterpiece (it is God`s masterpiece, not ours).  No painter, sculptor or artist in this world could have created a human body and brought it to life.  A body is the work of God in all of its greatness, in all of its beauty.  And especially, we must take care of our body, that is, to know that we cannot serve God unless we start to see our body differently.  The body must live, but we must make it live in the most subtle of ways, by giving it what it expects from us.  It is through love that we will give our body that which is necessary, in order to satisfy others also.
