How do I experience freedom in my marriage, in my family or in my entourage?

There is no such thing as a punishment from God. You are the ones who deal out the punishments. God, He is Love and He leaves you free in your own desires, in your own thoughts and in the decisions you must take. God does not require anything from you; only that you love one another. God is also suffering, in His own way, but I tell you right now that it is not a human suffering. It is really a regard upon humanity, upon His children.

When you have a family and your children do not live up to your desires, to the love you have given them, and there are disputes, and they are not happy, how much pain can a father or mother experience? You know we are helpless, so we try to say something, to talk it over, but it does not resolve much of anything. So sometimes we address God, when we have no other trick up our sleeve, but the results are not always the ones we expected. Why is this? Simply because we forget that we cannot do what God does. Our incapacities are often confined to very material, very mundane things. God wants to give you another way of looking at life, an altruism to truly understand that you can make your life rich and beautiful, and that your worries, problems, doubts, stress and anxieties disappear as soon as you offer up your suffering, as soon as you offer your problems up to the One who can handle everything for us.

The Lord tells us in the Old as well as the New Testaments: He truly prepares us to understand what it means to love. To love is to give freedom to the other in a couple, as in life, that is, with our children, with our neighbors, with all those we love as with those we love less. That means to relearn how to recognize the other just as he is, to truly respect him where he has chosen to live, in the country where he has chosen to live.

We must respect all those people who have a different language. Earth belongs to everyone. This is what we must tell ourselves. As we tear down our borders, we reactivate life on Earth and its environment, simply because it takes its source once again from down below.
